Somehow two weeks (and a day) have passed since Witchlight hit stores. Many of you are reading1! I also saw so many of you on the road—or I’m going to see you tonight in Louisville. And of course, I’ve gotten tagged on social left and right by people receiving their copies or reading their copies or just posting fan art. 😭😭😭
THANK YOU! I can’t say it enough. As my life slips back into my usual routine of writing, raising Cricket, and managing a healing Junebug, it’s all too easy to forget the incredible ACCOMPLISHMENT that was (and is) Witchlight. And it wouldn’t exist if not for all of you.

Witch Heart, the pre-order short story
As most of you have already seen, we hit TIER 3 on the Witchlight pre-order campaign! And I sent out a 3,100-word short story and cover art by C.J. Merrill last week to all the people who voted.

I love reading your newsletter, and have been since they began many moons ago, so thank you! I especially love reading about your processes, not just writing relating, but how you’re filling the creative well, managing your time, all the how-to content and why it works for you (and sometimes how it doesn’t!). It doesn’t always apply but I just find people’s processes and the reasons why it works for them so fascinating, for all art forms.
