Weeeeeeee!! I got my US hardcovers of The Whispering Night! And since we just finished our first week of The Hunting Moon Readalong (you can still join us!), you KNOW I have to give one away…
And I suppose I have to continue giving them away over the next few weeks! They look SO GORGEOUS, oh my gosh. The copper foil is positively stunning. My photos cannot capture the vibrancy. 😍
To enter to win a signed, personalized copy, just leave a comment below telling me what you love most about this series! Or what you’re most excited to see in the conclusion.
I love the world, especially all the nightmares. Also, I'm really excited to see how it all ties together in the end, especially how Winnie's father is connected to things.
Hii Sooz, thank you for doing a giveaway first of all! And Secondly my favorite thing about your book is that you have put not one, but TWO hijabis in it. This may seem very insignificant to others. But as a hijabi myself I got SO EXCITED! To be represented even in a small yet beautiful way is meaningful. And you made one of them the clan leader. You have my heart for that one! I truly mean it, thank you for that💚 (also can't wait to see more of Winnie and Jay 🤭)
What to start with? there is so much i love, the names of the characters, the spookiness of the story, sucks you in when reading it and so much more. I also would love to know more about Winnie's father.
I love everything. The twists and turns that this story has taken, that it was originally based on Sooz your own adventure and especially Winnie and Ugh Jay and their slow burn chemistry.
I love the richly developed world of eerie forests and nightmare monsters. It is a heart pounding read from start to finish. How will it end for Winnie's father and family, and what's in store for Winnie and Jay!
I love how Winnie builds herself up! She thinks she’s alone but cultivates this whole group of people who have her back and it spurs her on, allowing her to believe in herself and fight!
I think my favorite part about the series is that I really feel at home reading it and just get lost in it, never really wanting it to end and I can't wait to see what's in store for Winnie in the conclusion.
For me it started with the vibes. The covers drew me in and then the vibes of the setting and the characters. It was fun and just what I needed. Now I don't want it to end, but I also need to know how it will end.
Leave me out of the giveaway as I am a bookseller, and I was able to read an advanced copy a while ago.
Honestly, I was so happy to have an ending that is genuinely satisfying. And yet also surprising. I left this world satisfied, but still wanting to come back to the beginning
This series was and is one of my favorite series that I can keep on rereading. The character development of each and every character just shows how much effort was made into the series and how each and everyone and everything has a major part of the development meaning nothing is ever to small or to unimportant which shows a very important message that even though something happened you can become what others never expected. I also love how Winnie even though everyone treated her like she didn’t deserve to be there she stayed true to herself instead of becoming a villain. I also love the setting and I could just get lost in this world. I’m looking forward to seeing the relationship grow and having the family being seen as hero’s instead of just traitors.
i love the way you write relationships in a way that feel so genuine and heartbreaking. and the way that you describe everything so strongly i feel like i’m there.
I love Hemlock Falls and its magic and the nightmares. The mist is so cool, and I love the excerpts from the Nightmare Compendium. I’d love to visit and see it all and then run away screaming when I see my first nightmare
With my social work background i think the aspect of this series that tugs at me the most is the outcast/ black sheep/ ostracized community member concept. It's taking what you're delt and focusing on making yourself the best person the community/ family needs from you without letting what is expected. Meaning, instead of being what they made you be what you know you can be & make them see you in YOUR light. (Hope that make sense)
I love this series so much! Love the characters and how they grow, especially love the “creatures”. A unique take on the ones I’ve heard of and sooo cool discovering ones I’ve never heard of!!
I can’t wait to read again about the mysterious creatures. I love the pictures of the creatures too. I have managed to love them and hate them! Live through the emotions Winnie is experiences, and I know that again I will be upset when I am about to finish the book and thirsty for more! Thank you:)
It’s hard to choose but I will try to narrow it down.
This book series has quickly become my absolute favorite. I especially love the relationship dynamics between Jay and Winnie. They’re both so complex and unique but also relatable in their own way.
The books are incredibly atmospheric. Also, the whole premise of the story, the worldbuilding and characters are unlike anything I’ve ever read before.
I love the relationships!
I love how relatable Winnie is and how she goes for what she wants and thinks is right (even if that puts her in some scary situations!).
I love the vibes of Hemlock Falls!
I love everything about it and I really want to know how Winnie's dad is involved in everything and if he will make it back to the family or not.
I love the world, especially all the nightmares. Also, I'm really excited to see how it all ties together in the end, especially how Winnie's father is connected to things.
I love how in the second book, Winnie is seeing her community in a new way and starting to question everything.
I love the atmosphere of Hemlock Falls, but I wouldn't want to live there! I am anxiously awaiting the interactions between Winnie and Ugh Jay.

I love all the lore! Both with the nightmares and the families.
What to start with? there is so much i love, the names of the characters, the spookiness of the story, sucks you in when reading it and so much more. I also would love to know more about Winnie's father.
Lots of things to love, but the first one that came to mind was...a MC who wears glasses! I feel seen 😁😁😁
The lore! From the nightmares to the families to the town itself, the worldbuilding and lore has just been incredible.
I love the idea - nightmares? That's brilliant. And al the secrets! I want to know how it ends!

Ugh Jay!
Do I need to say more?!
I love how Winnie builds herself up! She thinks she’s alone but cultivates this whole group of people who have her back and it spurs her on, allowing her to believe in herself and fight!
I love the concept of the clans/families. And of course all the Winnie and Jay interactions.
I absolutely love the world-building and all the nightmares (the illustrations in the UK edition are to die for!) <3
I think my favorite part about the series is that I really feel at home reading it and just get lost in it, never really wanting it to end and I can't wait to see what's in store for Winnie in the conclusion.
I love all the nightmares and Hemlock Falls as a whole!
I love Winnie's interiority! It feels like we are walking around in her shoes rather than just reading the story.
For me it started with the vibes. The covers drew me in and then the vibes of the setting and the characters. It was fun and just what I needed. Now I don't want it to end, but I also need to know how it will end.
I love the world building. You can really visualize being in Hemlock Falls!
Learning about all the creatures!
I can’t wait to learn more about the Dianas!
I love the voice! I also really appreciate and enjoy that it feels truly “teen” and not older “YA”

Aaaah, THANK YOU!!!! I am so happy/relieved/excited to hear you enjoyed it!!!!
the kinda twisted gorey quality to the actions scenes. Your aren't afraid to get graphic and I love it so much.

I love the complex relationships and the suspense!
I’m just excited for the grand finale and hoping Winnie & (ugh) Jay get a HEA!
The boops are the highlight for me.
I love the multiple layers in the books. Mystery, action, a little romance...it checks all the boxes!
I love the WORLD. It’s so fascinating and unique and I’m so excited to read more about it
I love Hemlock Falls and its magic and the nightmares. The mist is so cool, and I love the excerpts from the Nightmare Compendium. I’d love to visit and see it all and then run away screaming when I see my first nightmare
Just the possibility of the epilogue we all deserve 😌😌😌
I absolutely love the lore! It completely sucked me in and I cannot wait to read more!!
I absolutely love the flow of this story. It's so easy to read, easy to share, and I think anyone can find something to love about it :)
I love love love Winnie's personality, it's unique and so charming.

Winnie's family finally gets redeemed .
I love how easy it is to get lost in the world, it's so interesting!
I love the lore you have built! Im super excited to see everything play out and the cookies you have been building to!
I love that the fight scenes are easy to comprehend! But basically the whole thing is my favourite thing!
I love this series so much! Love the characters and how they grow, especially love the “creatures”. A unique take on the ones I’ve heard of and sooo cool discovering ones I’ve never heard of!!
