In the world of the Luminaries, seven clans guard against the nightmare forest—one clan for each night of the week. Each clan possesses unique virtues and skills that set them apart from the rest.
And as Winnie Wednesday thinks constantly in her town of Hemlock Falls: Culture runs thicker than blood.

Then you're a SUNDAY. Sundays are the natural teachers. They are patient and thrive under intense, nightmarish pressure. They train young Luminaries on their sprawling estate.
Patience inside. Calm under pressure.

Then you're a MONDAY. Mondays are all about intellectual pursuits and preserving history. They are the keepers of the Luminary past, the experts on lore, history, forest science, and nightmares.
Intellect at the fore. Knowledge is the path.

Then you're a TUESDAY. Tuesdays are the warriors. Even though all clans fight nightmares, there are times that other violence is necessary—such as hunting nightmares that escape the forest, or perhaps most important of all, defending the Luminaries against any Diana attacks.
Strength of body and heart. We hold the line.

Then you're a WEDNESDAY (like Winnie!). Wednesdays are the logistics people. They’re so committed to the Luminaries and that they devote their lives to keeping it running. They also frequently make up "networkers," which are Luminaries who live in the non-world in order to keep Luminary life running smoothly.
Loyalty through and through. The cause above all else.
Mostly E's?
Then you're a THURSDAY. Thursdays pride themselves on preparation and plans. They are the strategists. They're also in charge of PR and making sure that the reality of the Luminaries never reaches the nons.
Preparedness always. Never without a plan.
Mostly F's?
Then you're a FRIDAY (like #UghJay). Though known for honesty and integrity, no one seems to values such virtues anymore. As such, Fridays have been relegated to the side. They are respected as hunters, but not much else. Winnie can't help but wonder why…
Integrity in all. Honesty to the end.
Mostly G's?
Then you're a SATURDAY. Saturdays are skilled at using their words to get things done, and also at diplomacy and mediation. As such, they are the natural leaders and managers of the Luminaries.
Leadership in deed and word. Persuasion is power.
None of the above?
Then you’re a Diana, the mortal enemy of the Luminaries. Where the Luminaries believe in protecting the world from the spirit and its nightmares—as well as protecting the spirit from the world—the Dianas believe the spirit should be awoken, and the nightmares unleashed.
They also steal magic from the spirits by burying “sources” in the forest soil and absorbing the magic for their spells.
But are Dianas truly the enemy? Or is their more to their secret society than first meets the eye?
